SMSF

Showcasing a democratized support fund.

OVERVIEWSEIZE reached out on a freelance basis in 2024, as they needed a logo for their new program: the Support Member Solidarity Fund. The fund hopes to democratize the distribution of funds to organizations partnered with SEIZE.

PROBLEMThe logo needed to be complementary to the rest of the SEIZE branding guide, while distinct enough to be recognized as a subsidy program of SEIZE.

APPROACHI presented two concepts to SEIZE: the first, a flower-hand icon representing solidarity and mutual growth. The second focused more on community and redistribution, with a friendly face and cyclical arrows.

OUTCOMEWe ended up going with the first concept, as it was easier to adapt into SEIZE’s brand. I adapted the logo for mono and duo-tone contexts using SEIZE colors and typography, and the design has been getting frequent use to this day!
